What we're looking for

As our Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you'll play a key leadership role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and the Nursing team. Working closely with the NUM, you'll help ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the MIVF Clinic and Nursing Department.

You'll uphold high standards of nursing care, customer service, and administration across all areas of the organisation. This role requires integrity, professionalism, and the ability to lead by example.

In the absence of the NUM, you'll step in to manage the department, ensuring safe and effective operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the NUM in delivering patient services and overseeing all aspects of care within the unit
  • Providing leadership and support to the nursing team
  • Maintaining operational efficiency and high quality standards
  • Relieving the NUM as required and assuming full responsibilities when necessary

About you

  • Registered nurse division 1 with a current Victorian practicing certificate
  • Significant experience in field of Assisted Reproductive Technology
  • Demonstrated customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict
  • Effective prioritisation and organisation skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to motivate others

Not essential, but nice to have

  • Understanding of the laws and regulations regarding Assisted Reproductive Technologies
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position Scanning experience
