Government Agency Seeking APS3 Property Support Officer with Baseline Clearance for 3 month Contract

This government-owned enterprise plays a critical role in supporting Australia's national defence capability by providing quality housing and related services to military personnel and their families. Their Service Operations team are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented APS3 Property Support Officer for a 3-month contract.

Your new role

  • Respond to routine phone and email queries, ensuring professional and courteous customer service to members, landlords, and contractors.
  • Undertake property administration tasks including raising work orders, requesting quotations, rebooking and following up on maintenance, recalls, warranty repairs, smoke alarm compliance, booking inspections, coordinating property access, and managing invoices.
  • Support vacancy management by scheduling inspections and grounds maintenance.
  • Process routine transactions in line with standing operating procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings and working groups, contributing ideas to improve work practices.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as required by the Service Operations team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government Baseline Clearance
  • Ability to work under general direction and follow established procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in the real estate/maintenance/property sector in
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach to working in a virtual team environment.
