We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team, a pivotal role that provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

  • Position: Management Accountant
  • Salary: $76,515 plus Superannuation
  • Location: 16-20 Salta Drive, Altona North VIC-3025
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyse financial data and operational performance to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Identify cost efficiencies and assist in improving profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations and assist with the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and tax returns.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes.
  • Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in management accounting.
  • Membership in a recognised accounting body (e.g. CPA Australia, CA ANZ, or IPA) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
