Brady Hotels is a boutique hotel collection of four hotels and growing in Melbourne's CBD. Our Hotels: Brady Hotels Central Melbourne, Jones Lane, Flinders Lane and Hardware Lane offer hotel rooms, studio apartments as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments.  Our service is highly regarded and reviewed by our guests and the locations put you right in the centre of the action, which attract leisure and corporate guests looking for either a short or long stay in Melbourne.

About the role

We are looking for a candidate that has the ability to WOW our guests as their first priority and contribute in all areas of the business. In this dynamic, hands on role you will be responsible for:

  • The smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of our guests, company assets and property whilst maximising guest satisfaction.
  • The accurate and timely completion of the night audit including the daily reconciliation of the hotel's trading.
  • Developing, checking and preparing reports and statistical information in accordance with standards and auditing procedures during the night shift.

Your ability to 'WOW' our guests with your friendly, sociable nature and excellent communication is what sets you apart from the rest. You have a strong sense of urgency and work well under pressure, being able to juggle many tasks at one time. You are ambitious and goal-orientated, persistent in achieving desired outcomes and service excellence.

An absolute must:

  • Previous experience in hotels
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Front Office systems and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Certificates in level 2 First Aid are desirable; you will need to be prepared to obtain these if you do not currently have them.
  • You will be available to complete overnight shifts including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Well presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
