As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will provide an active service model with the emphasis on coordinating, recruiting, training, supporting and retaining volunteers to assist consumers to participate in everyday activities, maintain or rebuild confidence, improve social connectedness and emotional wellbeing, and stay active and healthy.
In this role, you will lead implementation of processes for engaging volunteers, participants and carers in the ongoing development, review and evaluation of activities.
You will refer to individual's goals, take account of diversity and the needs and preferences of participants when planning programs and activities. You will also oversee and, as required, participate in capacity building and social inclusion activities for participants.

- Current Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.

- Previous experience in volunteer coordination and support roles, including experience in recruiting, training and supervising volunteers
- Proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a volunteer workforce in a manner that recognises their contributions
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people
- Ability to coordinate capacity building and social inclusion activities for people with all abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
