About DV CollectiveThe DV Collective supports existing domestic and family violence services by bridging the gap between traditional funding and resource models and the real world needs of front-line providers.

Our MissionThe DV Collective strengthens the work of DFV services through strategic partnerships across private, philanthropic, government, and community sectors. These collaborations boost the capability and capacity of our members to support more women and children, amplify the voices of lived experience, and engage partners in meaningful, practical solutions.
Who Do We SupportThe DV Collective currently supports over 250 domestic and family violence services, including 45+ women's shelters, case workers and specialist family violence services, legal support, wrap-around material aid, safety programs, group support and programs aimed to rebuild emotional and financial independence. From crisis support, ensuring a safe house, navigating the legal system through to rebuilding her life and ensuring she has the means to build financial independence.
Position SummaryThe Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring The DV Collective delivers timely, strategic, and impactful support to its members. This role manages member relationships, leads projects, secures and distributes resources that enable collective impact, and maintains operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Operations
· Lead the day-to-day operations of the organisation in alignment with the DV
Collective's strategic plan and vision.
· Oversee distribution logistics and resource coordination across programs.
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and ethical standards.
Member Engagement & Program Delivery
· Build and strengthen relationships with domestic violence front line services.
· Identify needs through consultation, insight gathering, and active listening free
from preconceived opinions or personal agendas.
· Co-design, implement, and evaluate practical, solution-focused programs.
· Monitor and report on program performance and impact
Project Management
· Manage several projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination, delivery,
and impact.
· Lead, engage, and oversee multiple pro bono partnerships delivering services to
The DV Collective.
· Facilitate collaboration to ensure shared outcomes are achieved and sustained.
· Be accountable for delivering measurable results and achieving agreed outcomes.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
· Work closely with the CEO to strengthen and grow relationships with corporate
partners.
· Engage stakeholders across corporate, community, philanthropic, and government
sectors.
· Secure product and service donations on behalf of members.
· Represent The DV Collective at events when required.
Key Selection CriteriaEssential
● Proven experience managing operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
● Strong business development or corporate partnership experience.
● Strong organisational and project management skills.
● Results-driven with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
● Experience in stakeholder and relationship management across diverse sectors.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong negotiation skills.
● A high sense of accountability, with the ability to measure and report on impact.
● Experience motivating, inspiring, and leading teams or volunteers.
● Must have Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
Desirable
· Background in consulting, service design, or community engagement.
· Experience in the DFV, NFP, or community services sector.
· Understanding of gender-based violence, trauma-informed practice, or women's
services.
