We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Office Manager to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of our Financial Planning business as manage our office functions. Based in Norwest, this full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is a stickler for compliance and process improvements and enjoys combining financial oversight with operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Duties:
  • Monitor company cash flow and oversee daily financial operations
  • Oversee fee income processing and advisor payments
  • Prepare and process weekly payroll and quarterly superannuation
  • Reconcile intercompany loan accounts
  • Prepare and lodge Activity Statements
  • Update and maintain the share trading register
  • Establish, manage, and report on business budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure timely and accurate ASIC industry funding lodgements
  • Provide SMSF administration support
Compliance & Licensing:
  • Ensure the dealership complies with Licence Conditions and guidelines set by ASIC
  • Liaise with compliance specialists to support regulatory obligations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensee registers
  • Monitor La Vista for latest Licensee compliance updates
  • Maintain the company Breach Register
  • Assess and develop risk strategy for the company
  • Work closely with Paraplanner
Office Management Duties:
  • Onboard new staff: issue contracts, coordinate inductions, and system access
  • Manage IT setup for new employees (email, devices, software access)
  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and administrative support functions
  • Coordinate internal meetings, training sessions, and communications
To be considered for this role, the following skills and experience are required:
  • Experience within a Financial Planning firm
  • Proven ability to manage a small office
  • Flexible and proactive - we don't need a jobs worth person
  • Conscientious, someone who goes above and beyond
  • Problem solving ability
  • Be a great support person - have the confidence to speak up and offer suggestions
