Keep Moving is a Berrimah based, well-established, locally owned and operated Northern Territory business, established in 2006. Keep Moving provides assistive technology equipment solutions to hospitals, primary health care clinics, aged care facilities, disability, and rehabilitation sectors, and individuals requiring assistive technology and support.

About You

As we continue with our exciting period of growth, our Keep Moving team must grow to support this. As a result, we are looking for an Accounts Officer for Accounts Payable.

If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. You should be someone who loves a fast-paced environment, can adapt quickly, manage workload and meet deadlines.

You must be able to work in Australia with no restrictions and be resident in the Darwin area.

Qualifications and Criteria

  • Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Be able to follow instructions, have attention to detail and be organised.
  • Must possess initiative, be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team, integral to the companies' goals.
  • Must have a willingness to learn, contribute and expand within the business.
  • Must be able to think on the run and solve any issues that arise without notice.
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Xero would be highly beneficial
  • Current National Criminal records check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Daily Reconciliation of outwards funds from Bank Accounts
  • Daily entry of Payables Supplier invoices
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
  • Weekly Payment to Suppliers
  • Adhoc tasks as directed by the Executive Officer
