FRP HUB is a leading provider in construction materials, specializing in Steel, mesh and concrete accessories. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented METAL MACHINIST OPERATOR to join our team in the reinforcing steel production sector.

This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

The successful candidate must have:

· Excellent English skills

· The right to work in Australia

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.

· Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in relevant field

· Team management skills

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Strong time management skills

  • Previous experience in the reinforcing steel industry (off-coil machine).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Reliable transport to and from work.
  • Ability to work different shifts.

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

· Operate and manage the shape-forming and stirrups-bending machine from coil.

· Program machines for various bending specifications, ensuring precision and material efficiency.

· Fit and assemble metal parts and subcomponents to produce finished reinforcing products.

· Conduct pre-start checks, quality control inspections, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.

· Load finished products safely onto transport vehicles.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
