Graphic Designer

Join the Jo Mercer team (part of The Shoe Group) as we bring a new bold, stand-alone, fashion-led shoe brand to life. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you'll help shape this new brand's identity – from logo design and visual guidelines to digital assets and website rollout.

This is a hands-on creative role where your eye for design, trend awareness, and attention to detail will help define a fresh brand direction.

The role begins part-time in our South Yarra offices (initially 3 days per week), for 6 months, with scope to increase to 4 days or full-time. There's also potential to support Jo Mercer's in-house design team during peak periods or annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout and format marketing and communications materials

• Maintaining the highest standards in graphic design and producing cutting edge, professional creative content, for both print and digital, that accurately represents the expectations of the brand

• Photograph and edit content such as product photography, flatlays and social images

• Videography and video editing for social content.

• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design

• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time

• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work

• Design across all digital assets eg. web, paid advertising, eDM's and social media

• Maintaining an advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite software used for creating graphic designs and trends within design

• Work to budget, timeline and deadlines
