Set amongst Hamilton Island's most iconic backdrops, the Pool Bar and One Tree Hill are guest favourites for unforgettable holiday moments. The Pool Bar offers swim-up cocktails and relaxed poolside service, while One Tree Hill is renowned for breathtaking sunsets and crafted drinks overlooking the Whitsundays.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee both outlets, leading our dedicated team to deliver exceptional service, signature cocktails, and memorable guest experiences in two of the island's most picturesque locations.

Your Role


As Assistant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of both the Pool Bar and One Tree Hill. You will lead a vibrant team, ensure service standards are consistently met, and create an environment where guests can relax and enjoy unique cocktail experiences.

• Lead, train, and inspire the team across both venues

• Ensure consistent, efficient service while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere

• Drive cocktail innovation and presentation in collaboration with bar staff

• Handle guest requests and feedback with professionalism and care

• Manage rosters, stock, and cost control to support operational success

• Maintain compliance with safety, licensing, and hygiene standards

• Foster a positive team culture and encourage career development

What we're looking for


You are an energetic and motivated hospitality professional who thrives in dynamic, guest-focused environments. You are passionate about cocktails, leadership, and delivering elevated yet relaxed service.

To be successful, you will need:



• Previous supervisory or management experience in bars, cocktail lounges, or high-volume hospitality venues

• Strong cocktail knowledge and ability to inspire creativity within your team

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

• Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential)

• Valid Driver's Licence (Essential)
