Your Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of Bommie Restaurant, setting the standard for luxury dining and ensuring seamless execution in a high-end resort environment.
- Lead, train and mentor a high-performing front-of-house team to uphold luxury service standards. 
- Manage all aspects of daily operations: guest service, staff scheduling, inventory, cost control, and logistics. 
- Provide exceptional guest experiences and address any inquiries or concerns with polished professionalism. 
- Ensure health, safety, hygiene and liquor licensing compliance. 
- Collaborate with executive chef and sommelier in curating menus, wine pairings and special events (e.g., degustation evenings, private dining). 
- Maintain presentation standards, ambience and guest journey from arrival to departure. 
- Foster a positive team culture: recognise achievements, drive engagement and support continuous improvement. 
- Assist in planning and executing VIP experiences, group bookings and upscale private dining in our intimate dining room. 
You are an experienced hospitality professional passionate about delivering top-tier dining experiences. You thrive in a refined, fast-paced environment and have the leadership capability to inspire your team.
To be successful you will need:- Previous experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within a luxury resort restaurant or fine-dining venue. 
- Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. 
- Ability to multitask and maintain high standards in a dynamic, high-pressure setting. 
- Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential). 
- Valid Driver's Licence (Essential) — Hamilton Island roster may require mobility across resort operations. 
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential). 
- Flexibility with roster patterns, including evenings, weekends and split shifts. 
- A keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering remarkable guest experiences.
