Your new role
Business Services Manager - Agri-Business Focus
In this specialised role, you will work closely with a Partner and a team of nine, supporting an established portfolio of primary production and agri-based clients. Your remit will be evenly split between:
- Delivering proactive advisory solutions including structuring, tax planning, succession, and growth strategies
- Managing compliance engagements, workflow, and technical delivery across the team
- Building trusted relationships with multi‑generational farming families and larger agribusiness groups
- Coaching and developing junior staff while maintaining a high standard of client service
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about agriculture who enjoys advisory work and wants a long-term future in the sector.
Business Services Manager - General Business Clients
In this role, you will work across a broad portfolio of SME and mid-market clients spanning a diverse mix of industries. You will:
- Oversee the delivery of compliance and advisory engagements
- Partner with clients to provide insights on tax matters, business performance, structuring and commercial decision-making
- Lead and mentor team members to build capability and drive quality
- Support the Partner group in managing client relationships and identifying value-adding opportunities
Both positions offer autonomy, client ownership, exposure to complex work, and genuine ongoing progression.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience at Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager level within Business Services/Tax
- Strong technical understanding across compliance, tax advisory, and Australian accounting standards
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Leadership skills with a genuine interest in developing others
- For the Agri-Business Manager role, experience with or passion for agriculture and primary production clients is highly desirable
