About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Laborers, trade assist to join our team at Auswide Roofing Solutions Pty Ltd in sydney. This is a casual position moving into fulltime where you will learn the trade of roof plumbing and work on a variety of commercial and residential roofing projects

What you'll be doing

  • Assist experienced roof plumbers with the installation, metal roofing systems
  • Learn how to measure, cut, bend and install metal roof sheeting ,roof cladding, gutters, downpipes, flashings, install of metal battens, install of insulation blanket
  • Understand and apply relevant building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in your plumbing qualification

What we're looking for

  • Interest in working with your hands and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid driver's license is preferred
  • White card
  • Working at heights
