About the Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Nuclear Medicine Scientist to join a well-respected organisation and fast-track your professional development. We're seeking a motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine Scientist to join our Brisbane North team on a full-time basis, where you'll gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Our high-performing Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT teams are expanding in response to the growing demand for services in the Brisbane North region. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment, including the GE Infinia Hawkeye, in a modern facility that offers a dynamic, supportive environment and excellent opportunities for accelerated growth as a Nuclear Medicine Scientist.
About You:
Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist qualifications, you will also have:
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
- AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
- Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
- Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
- Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
