Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to support the lead Portfolio Manager in the end-to-end investment lifecycle of consumer purchased debt ledgers and non performing loan portfolios. The successful candidate will play a key role in deal sourcing, underwriting, portfolio and performance management. This is an opportunity to gain deep exposure to an evolving alternative credit asset class alongside a dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Investment Analysis:

  • Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities in consumer NPLs
  • Due Diligence & Execution:
  • Support the execution of transactions, including coordinating legal, operational, and financial due diligence.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and support internal and external presentations.
  • Alongside the portfolio manager help liaise with external advisors, servicers, and originators pre and post the acquisition process.

-Portfolio Monitoring:

  • Track and analyse ongoing portfolio performance against targets
  • Assist the portfolio manager with insights and analytics that will be used in performance reviews with third-party service providers driving impactful and timely portfolio decisioning
  • Prepare regular reporting for internal stakeholders

-Market Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct industry, regulatory, and macroeconomic research with a focus on consumer credit and recovery trends and strategies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, restructuring, special situations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Exposure to NPLs, consumer finance, structured credit, or debt recovery will be highly regarded.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of credit fundamentals and valuation techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
