We are seeking dedicated, motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team as an All Rounder/Factory Hand. This role involves assisting in the day-to-day operations of our powder coating facility, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of coated materials. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment. Opportunity for the right candidate to progress to a new industry accredited Surface Finishing Certificate Course.

About the Role: FULL ONSITE TRAINING PROVIDED

  • Coating Operations: Understanding powder coating materials for application to various surfaces following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and longevity.
  • Quality Control:Conduct visual inspections utilising the latest up to date digital measuring equipment to ensure the quality and consistency of coated products, reporting any defects or irregularities promptly.
  • Material Handling: Manage the movement and organisation of materials within the factory, including preparation, loading, and unloading of items for coating. Forklift training provided to the right candidate.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards:Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or hazards in the workplace.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of coating processes, inventory, and any required documentation related to production. Training on data entry and data logging provided.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and address any arising issues or concerns.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with powder coating processes and equipment is a plus but not a necessity.
  • Current drivers' license.
  • Current forklift license an advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical capability to lift and handle materials as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude within a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs and techniques.
  • Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Current Police check
