About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Labourer, Powdercoater, Sandblaster to join our team at Gold Coast Powder Coating in Burleigh Heads, QLD. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your needs.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the day-to-day operations of our powder coating and sandblasting workshops
  2. Preparing surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, degreasing and sandblasting
  3. Operating powder coating equipment to apply coatings to a high standard
  4. Performing general labouring duties as required, including cleaning and maintaining the workshop
  5. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with workplace policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a similar labouring, powder coating or sandblasting role
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
  3. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
  4. A commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  5. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
