About our Company:

Australian Hammer Supplies Hire specialise in providing market leading excavator hire and excavator mounted attachment hire solutions and are conveniently based just off the M5 at Ingleburn.

The Role:

We are seeking a full-time experienced HR Truck Driver who has experience using tilt trays and loading, chaining equipment down and unloading machinery.

The current truck is automatic and extremely well maintained, a great truck for local Sydney Metro and Greater, with limited trips to Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra.

This role could be for you if you enjoy meeting and talking to people, have an interest in earthmoving, compaction and construction equipment, are able to operate and load earthmoving equipment and enjoy working in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Safely load/ unload and correctly secure earthmoving equipment and attachments onto the truck.
  • Ensure equipment being delivered is quality checked to the company standards.
  • Handle delivery receipts and obtain customer acknowledgement.
  • Report any damages made on equipment.
  • Carry out cleaning to hire equipment in yard.
  • Maintaining the company vehicle.

To qualify for this position, we require you to have:

  • Current and valid HR Drivers licence and printed driving record.
  • Current and valid Forklift licence and White Card.
  • Current and valid crane licence to operate overhead crane (advantage).
  • Must have the ability a to safely operate a 10-wheeler truck.
  • Be willing to undergo and pass without restriction pre- employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
  • Neat appearance and takes pride in maintaining your vehicle.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
