About the role

  • Support the Quality Lead – Accreditation in coordinating and implementing activities to ensure the organisation is fully prepared for accreditation assessments across the network.

  • Partner with Quality Managers, Coordinators, and standard leads to conduct gap analyses, monitor compliance, and implement strategies aligned with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

  • Assist in reviewing quality data and incident reports to identify trends and support the development of improvement initiatives that strengthen accreditation readiness.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate, current, and compliant documentation, including policies and procedures that underpin accreditation requirements.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Patient Safety and Quality Unit, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of accreditation-related tasks.

About you

  • Hold tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in healthcare, health administration, or Quality & Safety, with a strong understanding of accreditation frameworks.

  • Demonstrate analytical skills to interpret standards, accreditation requirements, and policy directives, applying them effectively in a hospital environment.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve accreditation goals.

  • Exhibit strong organisational and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple accreditation-related priorities and producing accurate, detailed documentation within tight timeframes.

  • Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems, with the ability to adapt to evolving accreditation processes.
