About the role
Support IBD Patient Care – Manage patient information, book and discharge clinic appointments, arrange interpreters, and assist patients with telehealth access.
Coordinate Clinic Operations – Oversee scheduling for gastroenterologists, nurses, dietitians and pharmacists, ensure billing eligibility, and maintain compliance with privacy and revenue procedures.
Be the First Point of Contact – Handle reception duties, respond to calls and emails, and direct enquiries promptly to the right team members.
Keep Everything Running Smoothly – Maintain and replenish clinic forms, support nursing staff with PBS Biologic applications, prepare meeting minutes, and manage administrative tasks like scanning and mail.
Contribute to a High-Performing Team – Help train new staff, participate in quality improvement activities, and assist with ongoing development of administrative services.

Strong Communicator – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven administrative experience.
Organised and Detail-Oriented – Experienced in coordinating patient appointments and managing revenue/Medicare billing processes accurately.
Medical Knowledge Advantage – Familiarity with medical terminology to support clinical and administrative tasks.
