AT-PAC GROUP is a customer service driven scaffold material supplier and contractor that utilises industry-leading expertise to provide a full range of products & services to the industrial, commercial, and civil engineering sectors.

We're looking for an individual that is safety focused with strong admin skills to join our branch in Wangara, Perth.

This is a newly created part-time position to support the safety, quality, compliance and operations across the organisation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is pivotal in supporting safety and operations functions across the company, with an emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement across our sites. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and implement safety protocols and assist in driving a culture of safety and efficiency. You will support best practice across all areas such as warehousing and yard operations, engineering and other key departments.

Key duties will include:

  • Oversee adherence to and continuous enhancement of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System.
  • Actively promote a safe working environment and risk management processes by the work conducted and interactions with the teams.
  • Lead or assist in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and injuries
  • Conduct internal audits and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
  • Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives and safety training needs
  • Take a lead role in Carbon Reporting, which requires data compilation and entry into an internal global change platform.
  • Oversee compliance with ISO 9001 System (internal audit, non-conformance reports, management system review)
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory utilisation by running reports across various platforms, participate in stocktakes and administration as needed.
  • Procurement – Sourcing opportunities for safety best practice and cost saving under banner of HSE (PPE, yard consumables and similar) and ad-hoc marketing purchases as needed.
  • Other duties that form part of safety and operations as directed.

To be successful in this role, ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in HSE (2+ years in a similar role)
  • Experience in working in an operations administrator role (2+ years in similar role)
  • Qualified – Certificate 4 or Diploma in WHS (preferable)
  • Competent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated to drive change and engage teams
  • Ability to show initiative, have a proactive can-do attitude and demonstrate high level of attention to detail
