Part-Time Restoration Technician
Location: Illawarra Region to Central Coast
We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Part-Time Restoration Technician to join our growing team. You'll be helping assess and restore properties affected by water, mould, and other damage — making a real difference for clients during stressful times.
Who We're Looking For
Practical skills – Confident with physical tasks like removing carpet, skirting, and plasterboard, and assisting with contents processing.
Restoration knowledge – Experience with water extraction, mould remediation, and structural drying is a plus (but not essential).
Tech-savvy – Comfortable using tablets and smartphones; experience with workflow systems like Prime is highly regarded.
Organised & proactive – Strong communication and time management skills to handle multiple jobs, complete reports, and meet deadlines.
Licences – Must have a valid driver's licence and White Card.
Travel flexibility – Able to travel daily across the Illawarra Region to the Central Coast, with occasional overnight stays.
What You'll Do
Travel to job sites to assess and restore damaged buildings and contents.
Conduct moisture surveys, take site measurements, and upload reports/photos via Prime.
Perform on-site restoration tasks including water extraction, structural drying, and mould remediation.
Balance hands-on work with professional reporting and customer communication.
Qualifications
IICRC certification is desired, but not essential – we provide training for the right person.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
