MAJOR INDUSTRIES RESTORATION
TRAINEE RESTORATION TECHNICIAN
Permanent full-time position (3 Months Probation)

38 hours per week

Various Sites in NSW (NSW Warehouse & Office)

Salary + relevant entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

We are a Restoration Company that attends to insurance claims on behalf of Insurance companies.

We attend to Fire, Flood, Mould & and any other request from the insurance company

Due to Company growth we are requiring another Trainee Restoration Technician

We are looking for a Trainee Restoration Technician for our business in the Insurance Restoration Industry

Applicant will report to the NSW Operations Manager(Sydney) and will be working with other Technicians

Duties will include (But not limited to):

- Water / Mould Restoration (Drying, Remediation, Stripouts etc)
- Fire Restoration (Cleaning, Contents disposal etc)
- Contents Handling (Assessment, Remediation, Inventory etc)
- Maintaining Vehicles, Equipment Consumables
- Preparing detailed Reports including extent of damages and projected costs for claims

The job will be full-time, with hours to be worked between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Potential for regional and interstate travel required to provide support during catastrophic events

Successful applicants must have the following Qualifications & experience
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- Exceptional customer service / communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proven time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure
- Must have a current and valid for NSW driver’s licence
- Strong work ethic

Desirable:

- IICRC accreditations - Water / mould / fire
- Background / knowledge in building and contents restoration and background in cleaning/carpet cleaning preferred but not essential
- Manual driving ability
- Experience driving small truck

Applicants must also be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and / or Police check.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
