Position Details:

  • Type: Casual
  • Salary: a competitive hourly rate, plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling sandwiches and preparing ingredients
  • Supporting the kitchen team with food prep and cleaning duties
  • Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
  • Helping with dishwashing and general kitchen upkeep
  • Occasionally assisting front-of-house during peak hours

Requirements:

  • Someone with previous experience in a café, deli, or commercial kitchen (sandwich hand or kitchen hand experience a big plus)
  • A positive attitude, good time management, and attention to detail
  • A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
  • Must be available to work early mornings
  • Food Safety Certificate preferred, but not essential
