Position DescriptionReporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Payroll function, and your responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

  • Processing end to end payroll for 400 employees
  • Interpretation and application of relevant EBAs and awards
  • Preparing and lodgment of payroll tax and superannuation
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Administration of employee onboarding including contracts and new hire paperwork
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Ensure all monthly and yearly payroll deadlines are met
  • Complete varying HR duties to assist the People & Culture Manager
  • Preparation of payroll related reports

Ideal CandidateTo be considered successful in the role, you will have previous proven extensive payroll experience, and possess the following attributes:

  • The ability to work both autonomously & collaboratively with others
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Keen desire & willingness to grow, with a passion for payroll
  • Possess high level attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret relevant EBAs and awards
