About the Role

We're looking for a Customer Service Officer who thrives on connection, problem-solving, and positivity. This role is about more than answering calls and emails — it's about being the ambassador of our brand, ensuring every interaction leaves customers smiling and supported.

You'll handle enquiries across phone, email, live chat, and social media, while building product knowledge that allows you to solve problems on the spot and add real value.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering professional, empathetic, and upbeat customer service
  • Responding to calls, chats, emails, and social messages within set timeframes
  • Supporting customers with orders, returns, and product enquiries
  • Logging interactions in our CRM (Gorgias) and reporting customer insights
  • Becoming a go-to expert on Austral Ag's products and promotions
  • Helping customers resolve product returns quickly and efficiently
  • Supporting the Customer Service Manager with weekly wrap-ups and insights

What We're Looking For
  • A bubbly, confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Experience in customer service, eCommerce, or retail (CRM experience highly regarded – Gorgias, Shopify, PayPal)
  • Strong computer literacy across G-Suite & Microsoft Office
  • Resilience and professionalism when managing challenging conversations
  • Knowledge or interest in agriculture, horticulture, stock water, animal health, or feed & fencing is a big plus
