An important part of this focus is ensuring we have mobile apps that meet our members' needs and provide delightful experiences; this role has accountability for two of our mobile apps within the digital ecosystem.
Reporting to the Digital Product Lead – Platforms and Capabilities, the Digital Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving HCF's broader digital strategy. This role involves collaborating with business partners across the enterprise and technology stakeholders, owning the vision for their workstream, and leading cross-functional teams to solve the most impactful member problems and deliver value to market.

As a Digital Product Manager, you'll own the strategy, development, and optimisation of digital products across HCF's member-facing platforms, including mobile, web, and digital services. You'll collaborate across Product, Technology, Design, and Marketing to build intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with HCF's broader goals. Balance strategic initiatives with tactical execution to ensure long-term success.
Discovery and Innovation: Lead deep discovery efforts to uncover member needs and market opportunities. Utilise member research, market analysis, and competitive insights to inform product vision and strategy.
Product Development: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and concept development through to launch and continuous improvement. Ensure that products meet high standards of quality and deliver meaningful value to members.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative digital experiences. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance metrics to assess product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Member Insight: Develop a deep understanding of member needs. Use these insights to create market-leading digital solutions that enhance member experiences.
Roadmap Prioritisation: Prioritise the product roadmap and backlog by balancing member needs with business outcomes. Clearly communicate the rationale behind prioritisation decisions to stakeholders.
Vision Evangelism: Champion the product vision and strategy across HCF. Ensure alignment and buy-in from all levels of the organization, including the Senior Leadership team.
Consultation and Partnership: Partner with business and technology leads to consult on new initiatives. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value to members and the business.
Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder continuous value delivery. Ensure that teams can operate efficiently and effectively.
About You
3-5 years digital product management experience preferably in a regulated industry with a focus on B2C member loyalty and retention
Experience in delivering continuous value for digital products built for multiple mobile devices, operating systems and web applications.
Demonstratable customer commitment with ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to build meaningful products and continuously improve experiences for our members
Experience working with 3rd party partners across product lifecycle
Experience partnering with brand and marketing teams to deliver products and that are aligned with messaging and go-to-market
Ability to create deep customer and member insights and turn into actions that create new growth opportunities or solve problem
Strategic and product-led mindset with strong business acumen and outcomes focus
Ability to meet deadlines and deliver against goals with a strong focus on details and outcomes
Influencing skills with an ability to make things happen
Design & Lean Thinking, and doing, with a focus on doing the right thing and doing it right.
