At HCF, we're on a mission to deliver better health outcomes for our members through innovation and digital transformation. We're looking for a Digital Portfolio Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising our digital portfolio.

In this role, you'll manage the digital portfolio lifecycle, driving alignment with enterprise priorities, ensuring effective governance, and providing transparency into performance. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to support prioritisation, agile delivery, and continuous improvement helping us deliver maximum value to our members.

This is a great opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and experience in digital portfolio management within agile environments.

What you'll do

Digital Portfolio Management & Governance

  • Support planning, execution, and optimisation of HCF's digital portfolio in line with strategic goals.

  • Maintain the digital portfolio roadmap and collaborate on prioritisation to maximise value.

  • Partner with Delivery Management Office (DMO) and Enterprise Portfolio Governance (EPG) on resource allocation and governance.

  • Monitor portfolio health, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues where needed.

Reporting & Insights

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility of portfolio performance.

  • Deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.

  • Track KPIs and metrics on delivery velocity, investment performance, and strategic alignment.

Program Support & Delivery Oversight

  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure initiatives progress on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Champion agile delivery practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate collaboration across teams to resolve challenges and improve execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a key liaison between digital teams and business stakeholders.

  • Clearly communicate portfolio status, risks, and opportunities across the organisation.

  • Support a culture of accountability and transparency in portfolio reporting.

Operational Excellence Support

  • Collaborate with Product Ops and Design Ops to streamline processes.

  • Oversee tools and platforms that underpin product and design operations.

  • Contribute to tooling and automation initiatives to enhance workflows and collaboration.

What you'll bring

Essential

  • Proven experience in digital portfolio management, product delivery, or PMO roles.

  • Strong knowledge of agile delivery frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).

  • Experience with portfolio reporting tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and insights capability.

  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with product and design operations.

  • Certifications in Agile, SAFe, or Lean Portfolio Management.

  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives.
