Catering Equipment Warehouse is a well-established hospitality equipment supplier with more than 25 years serving customers across Australia. With a strong retail showroom in Southern Sydney and a growing national online presence, we are seeking an experienced Retail Showroom & Operations Manager to support our next stage of business growth.

This role is ideal for a confident leader with a strong operational mindset who can manage daily showroom activities while improving systems, workflows, and overall store performance.

About the Role

In this hands on leadership position, you will oversee the day to day operations of our hospitality showroom, lead a small team, and ensure a high standard of customer service. A key part of the role will involve evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing systems that support both in store and online operations.

This role suits someone who takes ownership, thrives on structure, and enjoys making meaningful operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily showroom operations and maintain professional presentation

• Serve walk in customers and handle phone/email enquiries

• Oversee inventory accuracy, ordering, and stock control

• Lead and support a small team to achieve operational excellence

• Review existing processes and implement improved systems and workflows

• Coordinate showroom functions with our nationwide online sales

• Ensure smooth operations when the owner is off-site

• Assist with customer quotes and general product enquiries

About You

• Previous Retail Management experience is essential

• Experience in a large-format or high volume retailer is highly regarded (Officeworks, JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings, supermarkets, etc.)

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions

• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility

• Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset

• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
