What You'll Lead:
- Prepare diverse breakfast, brunch and specialty menu items to our high standards
- Maintain strict legislative compliance including HACCP principles
- Ensure all food safety standards, documentation and traceability requirements are met
- Mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute to training programs
- Support menu development for cafe and expanding services
- Collaborate on cost management, inventory control and waste minimisation
- Help establish and maintain compliant systems for our growing catering operations
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years commercial kitchen experience
- Australian work rights (no sponsorship available)
- Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and HACCP compliance
- Proven track record in maintaining food safety standards and documentation
- Experience with breakfast/brunch service and high-volume periods
- Weekend and early morning availability (6am starts)
- Strong leadership, mentoring and accountability mindset
