About the Role

We're looking for a Data & Analytics Lead to take charge of equ's growing data intelligence and analytics offering. You'll work across strategy, performance marketing, SEO, paid media, and marketing automation to deliver meaningful insights that drive growth for our clients.

This is a lead role with a hands-on edge: you'll partner with client strategy and performance marketing teams, support new business opportunities, and lead the delivery of advanced business intelligence, data, analytics, dashboards, tracking, and marketing automation solutions.

• Recent projects you might step into include:
• Designing GA4 and GTM governance frameworks for leading WA organisations.
• Investigating emerging platforms like Microsoft Fabric to shape equ's future data services.
• Driving attribution, CRM, and marketing automation integrations to improve ROI.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of Data & Analytics strategy for retainer clients and digital projects.
• Build and optimise data systems, tracking, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Champion data quality, governance, and compliance across analytics workflows.
• Partner with Account Managers and Performance teams to unlock growth opportunities.
• Explore new tools, platforms, and methods to keep equ ahead of the data & analytics curve.
• Mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data capability across the agency.

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in digital marketing analytics (GA4, GTM, Server-side measurement, Looker Studio, attribution).
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM integrations and data migrations.
• Ability to design and execute analytics roadmaps that align with client goals.
• A problem-solver who can simplify complexity and communicate insights.
• Hands-on expertise in data platforms (BigQuery, SQL, Python preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
