About the role
- Develop and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and a user-friendly experience, collaborating with content creators and stakeholders as needed.
- Manage daily operations of content and event management systems, including uploading content, quality assurance, and providing technical support to internal and external users.
- Conduct content testing and quality assurance, reporting and escalating performance or usability issues, and supporting the approval process for new content.
- Collaborate with web developers and cross-functional teams to implement website improvements, updates, and new features, and provide suggestions for enhanced efficiency.
- Monitor website performance using analytical tools, identify areas for improvement, and assist in implementing strategies to boost user engagement and site effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, accessibility, privacy, and data protection regulations, and provide guidance and training to staff on website best practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in web administration or digital content management.
- Proven experience with content management systems (e.g. Squiz, Swoogo, Funnelback or similar), user research, and usability testing.
- Working knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and applying SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams and work independently.
- Highly organised and adaptable, with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
