Financial Controller (FC)
 to join their 
executive leadership team

The Opportunity

As Financial Controller, you will have full responsibility for overseeing 
all financial operations across the building division
 ensuring robust governance, financial discipline, and strategic alignment with the company's ambitious growth plans.

Working directly alongside the 
CFO, CEO, and Board
, you will play a pivotal role in shaping long-term financial strategy, managing capital structures, and guiding large-scale investment decisions.

This role has been designed as the 
natural successor to the current CFO
, offering the successful candidate a unique career progression opportunity into one of the most senior executive roles within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the entire 
  finance function across the building division
  within the group
• Drive 
  financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
  , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Oversee 
  all statutory reporting, compliance, tax, and risk management
   functions
• Strengthen and refine 
  financial systems, internal controls, and reporting processes
   to support business scalability
• Provide high-level financial insight and recommendations to the 
  CEO, CFO, and Board
• Manage relationships with 
  auditors, regulators, banks, and external stakeholders
• Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
• Partner with project and development teams to evaluate and manage 
  major construction projects, joint ventures, and investments
• Position yourself as the 
  future CFO
  , actively preparing to step into the role as part of the company's long-term succession planning

About You

To be considered, you must bring 
extensive experience in the construction and property development sector
, with a strong track record of financial leadership in large, complex businesses.

• Proven experience as a 
  Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or equivalent senior role
   within 
  construction, property development, or engineering
• CA/CPA qualified
   with exceptional technical accounting knowledge and regulatory expertise
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale finance functions within a 
  high-growth, project-driven environment
• Extensive experience working with 
  construction projects, joint ventures, and capital-intensive businesses
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance financial governance with strategic growth opportunities
• Outstanding 
  leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ambition and readiness to 
  step into a CFO position
   within the short to medium term
