Financial Controller
 to join our leadership team and play a hands-on role in shaping the financial health of the group.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will take full ownership of financial management across the business, with a focus on accuracy, people leadership, and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering timely and accurate monthly reporting, board packs, and performance analysis.
  • Managing cashflow, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team, building a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Driving process improvements, systems development, and robust controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Partnering closely with operations to align financial outcomes with retail performance.

About you

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with strong technical skills, excellent leadership ability, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

  • Proven people management skills—you know how to build, motivate, and lead a team.
  • Strong understanding of SME financial environments and the ability to balance hands-on detail with strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to "roll the sleeves up" and get involved in the detail where needed.
  • Solid experience in retail or QSR environments—this is essential for success in the role.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
