At Wotton Kearney, we are more than a law firm. We are Asia Pacific's insurance and risk legal business, and we are growing. We are on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join us in either Melbourne or Sydney to help us find, attract and inspire the best legal talent out there.
This is not just about filling roles. It is about telling the WK story, building genuine connections and helping people picture their future with us. You will work closely with our Partners and leaders, and you will have the chance to make a real impact on how we hire and how our people experience WK.
What you'll get up to
- Work as part of the Talent Acquisition team to run end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of legal roles across Australia.
- Partner with Partners and hiring managers to bring the right talent into the right teams.
- Build creative sourcing strategies that spark interest and open doors to top legal talent.
- Champion inclusive hiring by making sure our processes are fair, accessible and welcoming.
- Be a WK brand ambassador and create materials such as job ads and campaigns that stand out in the market and sound like us.
- Share market insights, candidate feedback and recruitment data that influence real decisions.
- Keep our relationships with our preferred agencies and stakeholders strong and collaborative.
- Jump in on shared services recruitment when needed and support our CPO and TA Managers on people focused projects like workforce planning, secondments and process improvements.
- Be ready to take on new areas and legal markets as we continue to grow WK.
- Keep our recruitment data accurate, compliant and useful.
You'll thrive if you have...
- Four or more years of end-to-end legal recruitment experience, ideally with experience in recruiting legal talent within Litigation. (Insurance Litigation would be a major plus)
- Confidence in building strong relationships and influencing people at every level.
- A knack for finding and engaging talent directly through tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK.
- The ability to tell the WK story in a way that excites and inspires candidates.
- Experience in creating engaging recruitment marketing content.
- A curious, analytical mind and great attention to detail.
- An understanding of inclusive hiring practices and a drive to keep improving.
- Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with a collaborative style and a human touch.
