Diesel Fitters – Goonyella Riverside Mine

Bowen Basin | 7/7 Rotating Days/Nights | Long-Term Opportunity Downunder Group Solutions (DGS) is currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified Diesel Fitters for an established long-term project at Goonyella Riverside Mine. These positions provide stability, an industry-leading roster structure, and the opportunity to work within a highly organised maintenance environment.

Position Highlights
• $77.57 per hour + Superannuation paid on all hours worked.

• 7/7 roster (Days/Nights) – balanced lifestyle and predictable scheduling.

• Immediate commencement – PPE, meals and accommodation supplied.

• Long-term project continuity with an industry-recognised mining contractor.

• Weekly pay cycle. Role Responsibilities
• Execute maintenance, repairs and servicing of ancillary mobile equipment.

• Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and breakdown response.

• Perform equipment inspections, condition assessments and service readiness checks.

• Complete all documentation accurately in line with site and statutory requirements.

• Contribute to a safe, efficient and compliant work environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Certificate III Engineering – Diesel Fitting (or Australian recognised equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience maintaining mobile mining or heavy earthmoving equipment. (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr experience highly regarded)

• Proven diagnostic and problem-solving capability.

• Current Coal Board Medical.

• Current Standard 11 and BMA Core Induction.

• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience working within autonomous haulage environments is advantageous but not essential.
