RND Bondi, the modern Japanese restaurant by the team behind Raw Bar and Harry's Bondi, is expanding our kitchen team. We're looking for talented Sushi Chefs and Hot Section Chefs to join our crew, right in the heart of Bondi Beach.
Candidates may apply for both sushi and hot section positions based on their experience and qualifications.
At RND, we combine classic Japanese technique with contemporary flair – delivering a dining experience that's refined yet full of energy.
We're looking for:- Experienced, fully qualified Sushi Chefs
- Fully qualified chefs must hold either a trade certificate or culinary degree
- Experienced, fully qualified Hot Section Chefs
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sushi, sashimi, Japanese cuisine, or hot kitchen
- Strong service background and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- Execute high-quality dishes with consistency and precision
- Manage food preparation, cooking, and plating across your section
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
- Support the Head Chef in cost control, ordering, and receiving goods
- Collaborate closely with FOH staff to ensure smooth service
- Contribute to training and development of junior kitchen team members
- Competitive salary: $60,000 – $80,000 + Super (negotiable based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
