About this Role

You'll design, build, test and support software powering EDMI's global smart-metering platforms. Working closely with developers, firmware and cloud engineers, you'll turn requirements into reliable, scalable applications that help utilities run smarter.

A hands-on developer who loves clean code, peer review and continuous improvement. You're collaborative, accountable and comfortable working with global teammates to ship quality outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Translate requirements into specifications and high-quality code.
• Fix defects and enhance functionality with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with testers to meet testing requirements.
• Coordinate development activities and liaise across teams and sites.
• Participate in peer reviews; uphold design, QA and compliance standards.
• Prepare/manage project documentation per best practice.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Degree in IT/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years' experience in .NET.
• Familar with MS SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with MS Azure: IoT Hub, Event Hub, etc.
• Experience building Windows services, web apps, function apps, and web services.
• Growth mindset; willingness to learn new languages/tech.
