Are you an experienced mortgage broker or processor who wants to join a company that has pushed heavily into the AI/Tech space, digitising the traditional finance process to make solutions quicker and more efficient for clients?

About the Role

As a Mortgage Processor, you will assist in calculating borrowing capacities for clients looking to: buy their first home, use equity to purchase an investment property, or secure a property through their SMSF.

Using your knowledge of the mortgage industry, you will liaise with 3rd parties, assess applications, and monitor the progress of every client going through the finance process.

You will also need to review information and documents sent to you from clients and interested parties, to ensure they encompass everything required for the finance process. 

Not a mortgage broker? No problem Being a qualified mortgage broker is a plus, but it's not a requirement, so don't hesitate to apply even if you aren't a broker

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calculating and assessing applicant borrowing capacities to see if they are eligible
  • Processing mortgages for clients across Australia
  • Managing and monitoring each application as it progresses
  • Liaise, with clients, brokers, lenders, and other 3rd parties to ensure applications proceed smoothly
  • Maintain regular contact with clients throughout the finance process
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure the best outcome for every client

Your top skills:

  • 2+ years' experience in finance/mortgage processing
  • In-depth understanding of finance & mortgages
  • Confidence and articulation on the phone
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A focus on delivering outcomes for clients
  • A desire to deliver and achieve KPIs
  • A genuine passion to help clients secure finance for their new home or investment property
  • Previous experience using enterprise CRM software
  • Experience utilising tax minimisation strategies for investment properties

Bonus points for:

  • Previous experience in finance/mortgages for SMSF and investment properties
  • Knowledge of real estate/property market
