About the role

Eclipse Care and Support is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Wynn Vale, SA. This is a casual role, providing essential support and care for clients with a range of disabilities. You will play a vital part in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping
  • Facilitating social and recreational activities to improve clients' wellbeing
  • Documenting client progress and updating care plans as required
  • Advocating for clients' needs and ensuring their rights are protected
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, or a related field
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a community or home-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A current First Aid certificate and National Police Check
