Our domestic assistant support workers have the admirable and inspiring role to act with respect for people's rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision making. We do so, by caring for the elderly and disabled in their homes day-to-day. You would be joining a kindhearted team who dedicate their time towards helping enable client independence as well as building relationships within the community.
In this role you will:
- Provide at home support for our community-based clients driving from home to home.
Undertake duties such as:
Vacuuming
- Mopping floors
- Dusting
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Laundry and ironing
- Food preparation
- Ensure only safe products are used during supports.
- Provide care, supports and services in a safe and competent manner as detailed in the Support Plan.
- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of care, supports and services.
- Act with respect for the privacy of people.
- Be receptive to an individual's needs and wishes.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Previous experience undertaking cleaning services in non-commercial and/or aged care/NDIS environments would be well regarded.

- A current First Aid/CPR certificate (willingness to obtain)
- A valid current Australian driving license
- Safe & reliable vehicle with min 3rd party car insurance
- Current NDIS worker screening check
