Our flagship clinic is based in Williamstown, and we are excited to have recently opened our second clinic in Hawthorn East. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Behaviour Support Practitioner & Team Leader to play a key role in shaping and leading our PBS team.

This is a full-time position split between our Williamstown and Hawthorn East clinics, with the opportunity to provide both clinic-based and community-based support.

In this dual role, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to participants across the lifespan with diverse presentations, including physical disabilities, mental health, forensic, and hospital discharge.
• Lead and mentor a small team of PBS practitioners, supporting their clinical development, wellbeing, and performance.
• Oversee and contribute to the development and implementation of interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans, including for participants with complex needs and restrictive practices.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service innovation as VPS continues to expand.
• Balance clinical responsibilities with leadership, supervision, and service development.

You are an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who is ready to step into a leadership role, or an established Team Leader seeking a new challenge. You are passionate about supporting participants to achieve meaningful outcomes while also empowering and guiding your colleagues to grow in their roles.

You will bring:

• Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (NDIS Commission), at proficient level or above.
• Demonstrated experience working with participants with behaviours of concern and restrictive practices.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to balance team support and independent work.
