Community/Disability Support Worker
Availability:
- Must be available Monday and Tuesday from 9-3pm & Wednesday 10am-1:30pm.
- Must be open to accepting 2-hour services.
- Possibility of having other services.
Requirements:
- Driving is required.
- Full Australian driver's licence.
- Own a car.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Experienced in Manual Handling, challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills.
- Experience with Down Syndrome.
- Previous experience in support work.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be friendly and reliable.

About The Role: Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health.
- Has an initiative to plan client's activities and other social outings.
- Develop connections with the community, and achieve their goals.
- Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on.
- Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing.
- Willing to be on-call and travel to different areas.
This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
