The Opportunity - Data Strategy & AI Practice Lead
As the Data Strategy & AI Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI and data transformation initiatives.

This role is responsible for leading the Data and AI strategy, supporting sales efforts, leading delivery and positioning the company as a trusted advisor in the market. The Data Strategy and AI Practice Lead works closely with clients to understand their challenges, design tailored data-driven solutions and ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet business objectives.

This role will see you involved responsible for:

  • Defining and executing AI and data strategies to unlock business potential.
  • Leading the design and implementation of AI-powered tools for analytics, NLP, and automation.
  • Driving data transformation journeys, from governance to AI readiness.
  • Providing thought leadership, shaping industry trends, and positioning Davidson as a trusted AI and data advisory leader.
  • Building and growing the practice, collaborating with teams to deliver impactful results.

About You
You are a proven leader in AI and data strategy, passionate about emerging technologies and business transformation. With 10+ years in consulting, you bring:

  • Expertise in machine learning, data architecture, and advanced analytics.
  • A strong track record in client engagement, business development, and strategic advisory.
  • Experience leading AI and data-driven projects from concept to execution.
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Deep curiosity about AI innovations and their real-world applications.
  • Experience with client-facing roles, workshops, and strategic consulting (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical solutions into business value.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), with AI or data certifications (advantageous).
  • Flexible with occasional interstate travel
  • Hold full work rights for Australia
