About the role

You will be required to attend domestic residential & some commercial sites to check measurer before installation of kitchens and cabinetry.  You are replacing a long serving Check Measurer within the business and training of how we operate and the systems we use will be taught to the successful applicant

We require the applicant to be able to read and interpret drawings at site measure to see what requires a measurement.

We travel as far north as Hervey bay and as south as Greater gold coast region.

6am start

Casual/Part time

Monday – Friday – Some days are busier than others and for the right applicant we can provide work in the factory to help with hours

To be in this role, you must:

Be trade qualified

Have experience as a cabinetmaker or Carpenter and have general construction knowledge.

Have an eye for detail

Be reliable, honest, respectful & have a positive attitude

Good customer service and communication skills as we also deal with private customers in their own homes.

Looking to become part of a successful team.

Able to work safely in accordance with relevant Safe Work Method Statements and OSH workplace policies

Skills and experience

You will need to have past experience in this role or something similar where measuring was a part of your role.

Good communication skills

Ability to provide support for the apprentices when and where applicable

Proactive in continuous improvement and raise potential solutions or ideas to improve quality control, productivity and cost reductions
