Intermediate–Senior Tax Accountant

Boutique firm | South of the River | Long-term opportunity

Are you an experienced Tax Accountant looking for a long-term role closer to home? A well-established boutique accounting firm south of the river is seeking an Intermediate–Senior Tax Accountant (5+ years' experience) to join their supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Partners, this role will offer a mix of compliance and advisory responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing tax returns, BAS, and peer reviews
  • Advisory projects such as KPI discussions, succession planning, wills, and broader business strategy
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering value beyond compliance

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in public practice
  • Exposure to SMSF (preferred but not essential)
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
  • Confident with Xero
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, advisory mindset
