Marketing Intern- Melbourne

RGIT Australia, situated in Melbourne's CBD, is looking for a highly-motivated and dedicated Marketing Intern to work within the Institute's Marketing Department.

Position purpose

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Department in a range of marketing, communications, and administrative tasks, including digital campaigns, social media, content creation, event coordination, and market research.

Selection Criteria

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a proficient manner

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving

  • Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)

Position responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns

  • Contribute to social media and email marketing

  • Support website updates and SEO activities

  • Assist with research on industry trends and competitor activities

  • Help coordinate events, exhibitions, and promotional activities

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and presentations

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team

  • Assist in monitoring campaign performance and contribute to reporting tasks

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align marketing efforts
