About the Role

We're seeking a Reliability & Planning Engineer to join our team in Nambour, Sunshine Coast. You'll develop and execute maintenance strategies, analyse data to improve equipment reliability, and support site teams with troubleshooting and planning. Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, you'll help ensure safety compliance, optimise lifecycle costs, and keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain maintenance strategies and plans (short- & long-term).
  • Analyse SOS data, conduct failure investigations, and provide actionable reports.
  • Perform risk assessments and equipment reliability evaluations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Maintain safety standards database and identify compliance gaps.
  • Provide input on lifecycle costing, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Liaise with project administrators and estimators to support scheduling and project needs.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or minimum 3+ years' specialist mining maintenance experience).
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and communicate effectively.
  • A proactive approach to improving equipment reliability and driving preventative maintenance.
