We are offering an exciting Maternal and Child Health student placement program for 2026, an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience while studying.

As part of one of Victoria's fastest-growing communities, you'll work across both rural and metropolitan areas within the shire, supporting families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. To support your journey, Cardinia Shire Council is offering a $3,000 sponsorship toward your studies in 2026. This is more than just a placement—it's a chance to grow, connect, and contribute to thriving communities.

About You
If you are planning to study Maternal & Child Health in 2026 and have a combined minimum experience of 5 years in nursing and midwifery, we can offer you placement and work experience whilst studying, with the potential of gaining future employment upon completion of your studies. The successful candidate will show a passion for a career in Maternal and Child Health Nursing.
